Malala Yousafzai was just the top of the iceberg when it comes to women all around the world who fight for their rights, whethter they be instruction, jobs or civil.
In a world where women are still abused and considered nearly mere properties, stories like those of Nice Nailantei Leng'ete and Niloofar Rahmani are just the hope we need!
Here to you stories of two ordinary superheroines...just with willpower and passion they have brought down barriers and customs.
Nice Nailantei Leng'ete is only 24 years old and yet she managed to convince her grandfather NOT to undergo her to excision, a brutal genital mutilation, when she was 8.
Excision was a rite of passage into adlthood for the girls in the Masai village where Nice lives. She was also able to completly abolish the procedure for a new one, more significative: now, the village elders celebrate the girls' adulthood by blessing their schoolbooks.

A different kind of battle was (and is) for Niloofar Rahmani to fight. This young woman (born in 1992 in Afghanistan) is the first Afghan female pilot.
She answered to an Aviation ad on the newspaper: they were seeking for female recruits. So after a 2 years training, she's now a pilot, what her father always dreamed to be.
This is not an easy job...Niloofar has to deal with everyday threats by talibans and family members and with those who think fly a plane is no job for a woman. She said: "I always knew it wouldn't be easy, but it's 10 time worse. But I'll keep flying until I can."
Young women like these two are (and have to be) an example of what can be achieved and realized with hard work, anywhere in the world!
