Norma Ruiz vs Pixie Lott

Spanish actress and dancer Norma Ruiz wore this Alberta Ferretti bark skirt during 2014 Madrid Vogue Fashion’s Night Out back in September of last year, styling it with a black shirt while Brit singer Pixie Lott wore the same skirt but with sleveeless black top during 2015 National Television Awards late this January, in London.

I feel like Pixie ruined the whole look by wearing those sheer embellished opera gloves. Speak your mind!

Camilla Belle vs Suki Waterhouse

For this #WWIB we have the same minty dress by Gucci, worn in two different occasions by two brunette! Let's do this!
Actress Camilla Belle wore it first at the event ‘In Conversation with Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini’ held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (May 2014) as part of her duty as Brazilian ambassador of the brand. She styled it with gold open toe shoes and a Gucci purse to die for!
Brit model Suki Waterhouse wore for ‘Buttercup Bill’ after-party on September in London, also last year. She instead opted for whithe coat, shoes and bag and two ponytails.

I leave the vote to you!

Get Her Look: Sophie Hunter' Style

Director Sophie Hunter (aka Benedict Cumberbatch's newly wife) is probabily one of the celebrities who I can't wait to see on the Academy Awards' red carpet this Sunday!

She first got my full attention last November, in New York, where she wore on the red carpet of the "Imitation Game" a splendid Erdem Resort 2015.
But the "object of desire" today is this Emilia Wickstead faux leather midi dress...I personally adore it!!
If you liked this look as well as me and want to find something similar, here's my choice: a faux leather dress by ZARA (click here to see it).

It maybe not be an exact replica of Sophie's, but I think it is wearable in various occasion and can be styled both with extravagant jewels and/or simple shoes.

#TTT: Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish.
It was meant to be only for books BUT
I changed it a little bit so will be 5 books I want to read but don't own yet and 5 movies I'm planning to see PLUS it's going to be monthly not weekly.

What I've seen of the previously #TTTs:

Movie Review: Serial (Bad) Weddings

Serial (Bad) Weddings (2014) by Philippe de Chauveron. With Christian Clavier, Chantal Lauby, Noom Diawara and Elodie Fontan.

The French title of this hilarious comedy is "Qu'est-ce qu'on a fait Bon Dieu?" which means "What did we do, good Lord?"...question that Claude and Marie Vernuil ask themselves constantly...

Old fashioned and uber Catholics, three out of their four daughters married different religions men: an Arabic, a Jew and a Chinese...
Their younger daughter is their "last hope"...

Today's Obsession: Checked Print

Whether it is a single piece (a skirt, a pair of trousers or even a scarf!) or a total look (dress or a twin set), there's no doubt that windowpane pattern is a rock solid trend of this late fall/winter season.

Olivia Palermo (below: wearing Chloe dress) is probabily the ambassardor of this style, which showed during last S/S 2015 fashion weeks season.
But also Gwen Stefani, Reese Witherspoon and a few fashion bloggers loved and wore this print a few times.

Here's a gallery of celebrities who wore checked print and some ideas if you what to wear it too!

What you think? Do you have this kind of pattern in your own wardrobe?

Shea Marie vs Chiara Ferragni

American fashion blogger Shea Marie and Italian fashion blogger Chiara Ferragni have a lot in common: the both live in California, they both run a successful fashion blog (you don't say?!) and now they both appeare on Who Wore It Best!

The reason why is that they both wore this splendid Gucci Resort white/light blue embellished
sweater. Shea wore it first while in Milan back in December, styling it whit silver boots and light blue jeans while Chiara showed it on her blog early this February, with white jeans and a baseball hat.

Who Wore it Best: Long vs Short Edition

Sometimes we saw here on Who Wore it Best actresses, models, singers and bla bla bla wearing the same dress BUT one wore the long/runway version and the other one the short/red carpet version...
And today is no different from those times!
Actress Matilde Gioli attended the Valentino Sala Bianca 945 Event on December 10 wearing this beyond stunning Valention gold dress in its long version while actress Chloe Grace Moretz opted for the short one at the as at Museum Of The Moving Image honours Julianne Moore late this January.

When I first saw the photos of the Versace Haute Couture fashion show (late this January), I thought "It can't be possible! Two celebrities wore the same dress at the same event!!"

Model Eva Herzigova wore indeed the long version of this Versace red dress and actress Kate Hudson wore the short of it, BUT while the actress was a front row guest, the Czech model was actually doing her job...walking on the runway. So, yes it was the "same dress, same event"  but for two different reasons!

German actress Alicia von Rittberg wore this blue degradè Burberry dress first in November, last year, at "Fury" London screening as part of the London Film Festival, while British model Naomi Campbell wore it short and matched it with black high boots at "Fashion For Relief" event, a week later in London.

So, tell me....do you prefer the long version or the short one?
