Before I die....

I know that the post's title could seems a LOT creepy, but it's just the title of an initiative of an American citizen who, after a very personal lost, painted  the side of an abandoned house in his neighborhood in New Orleans with chalkboard paint and stenciled it with a grid of the sentence “Before I die I want to _______.” Anyone walking by could pick up a piece of chalk, reflect on their lives, and share their personal aspirations in public space.

He didn't expect that the reactions could be so positive. The day after he painted it, the wall was full of people's personal wishes!! And none of them were greedies or selfish...a few of them were "Before I die Ii want to swim with dolphins" or " hug a sloth" (my personal favourite!) "write a novel" "feed an elephant" and similar stuff!

This is the link to the website where you can find the whole description of the initiative and all the WHYs WHEREs, WHENs and WHATs : http://candychang.com/before-i-die-in-nola/

I personally belive this is a great and funny thing....at least for a few minutes you can think of your life and wish for yourself something bizarre, special and extraordinary!!
